Welcome to Renmark Junior Primary School
At Renmark
Junior Primary School we are committed to providing quality in
teaching, learning and the environment. The school is a complex site
where
children come from a variety of backgrounds including Aboriginal
students,
children for whom English is a second language and 'New Arrival' program
students. The school has a large number of students and we endeavour to
cater for the needs of all.
Our school vision is 'To provide a socially-just environment which is
caring,
supportive and challenging, where all students are given opportunities
to
reach their full potential'. Our school values are trust, respect,
caring,
self-worth and excellence. Early years is our central focus and we
provide
many additional support programs for identified students.
The eight core areas of study under the curriculum framework are
taught
along with reading recovery, oral language and extension groups, early
intervention support, WASP (Writing and Sensory Processing), LAP
(Learning
Assistance Program), music group and mother tongue programs. Modern
Greek is the LOTE subject taught.
